It was by accident that the Kirlians came to capture colorful images of the aura… eventually this tool would keep us standing in line at a psychic fair. Everyone wants to know what their aura looks like. But the topic is even more colorful than that.
Through use of instruments we’ve learned important practical information about how examining the aura can help to detect the arrival of disease in humans and plants alike. The testing that was done, by the Kirlians in the 1930’s, on leaves of the same plant species detected a weakness in one of the leaves due to contamination that was not obvious by looking at the body of the plant: this turned out to be an important development. The Kirlians did many experiments. But the ones I find most interesting are the discoveries they happened upon by surprise. Like when they were preparing for a visit from investigating scientist and the instruments seemed to be malfunctioning. However, we now know that Semyon was causing the machine to malfunction; he was getting sick and the instruments were picking up on that. The Kirlians contributed much to the auric studies and got recognition. Dr. Fedorov, a scientist, embraced the Kirlian’s studies and that opened doors to doing more research concerning the aura in the USSR. They were able to dive into their studies even deeper and while under the egis of the USSR, they learned about the rays of energy that whirl about us like fireballs of light. The fireballs increase and decrease due to undetermined reasons. The Kirlians were some of my favorite researchers.
